Zoe Beech, a Dewsbury-born singer, has been a fixture in the Kirklees area her entire life. Her musical journey began early, excelling in both the recorder and oboe before turning her attention to singing as a hobby. It wasn’t until 2014 that Zoe reignited her passion for singing, diving back into lessons and gracing open mic events with her performances. Her professional debut came in 2016, followed by numerous acoustic gigs alongside guitarist Andrew Beverley. Joining local band Limited Edition as lead vocalist in 2017, Zoe spent three fruitful years before forming the acoustic duo ‘Cantata’, a venture cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic. Beyond performing, Zoe’s prowess as a lyricist shone through, penning six tracks for her debut album “Perfectly Imperfect”, released in September 2017. Her talent earned her recognition as a finalist in the Lyrics Only category of the UK Songwriting Contest in 2021. Despite challenges, Zoe’s passion for performing endured, evident in her ensemble roles in amateur musicals like The Addams Family and Nunsense. Thrilled to be invited to Tractor Fest, Zoe looks forward to reuniting with Andrew on guitar, showcasing her eclectic musical taste with an acoustic set spanning classics from the Beatles to contemporary hits by Keane, Rihanna, and Olivia Rodrigo, promising something for everyone.
